Just as he arrived, Terrence Jenkins went out in style.

Today was his last day on the job as co-anchor of E News, the star of the upcoming comedy The Perfect Match having made what he called the "bittersweet" decision to focus full-time on acting and producing.

Maria Menounos, Catt Sadler and Jason Kennedy all bid Terrence farewell and, of course, the hour wouldn't have been complete without a montage of the outgoing host's finest moments, featuring Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, first lady Michelle Obama, Adam LevineKevin Hart, Ricky Gervais and more!

"It's been a lot of fun," Terrence said, shaking his head in awe, after the trip down memory lane. "Getting to come here every day is truly a lot of fun...To be able to live your dream every day, it's truly been an honor."

He thanked everyone who works on E! News, from the producers, directors and writers to his hair, makeup and styling teams.

"Everyone's been fantastic," Terrence continued, "and for everybody that's out there watching, thank you for supporting me over the years. I think it's important to grow and I think it's important to never get comfortable in life. And whenever you accomplish a goal, you have to set new goals for yourself and you have to go after new challenges."

He concluded, "This was a dream of mine and I was so fortunate to be able to live it with you guys, and now I have new dreams, and it's time to go out there and get 'em."

"No one can replace you, my man, we love you so much!" Catt exclaimed. "And the sky is the limit, the moon, the galaxy...It is going to be so fun to watch the trajectory of your career."

"I love you guys," Terrence replied.

Cue the cutest group hug! And with that, he signed off from E! News for the last time.

We all wish Terrence J the best of luck and, as Jason said on the show yesterday, "You are family here and you will always be family here, and when you've got another hit movie coming out, you come back here and you promote it any time you want."

Sounds like a plan!

Don't miss E! News' farewell to Terrence tonight at 7 p.m. & 11 p.m.
