16 seasons. Six mirrorball trophies. Two Emmy wins.

Derek Hough has had quite the run on Dancing With the Stars, taking home his sixth win with Bindi Irwin on Tuesday night. A fan-favorite since his debut on the ABC reality hit's fifth season, Derek has basically become the face of DWTS. But is he ready to say goodbye after his latest victory?! He hinted as much when we caught up with him after his latest win.

"I don't know, who knows," Derek told E! News' Sibley Scoles when asked if he would be returning for season 22. "I have to say this isn't a bad way to go out."

Nooo! Say it isn't so, Derek! Press play on our interview with Derek and Bindi above to hear more from Derek about his future on the show and their win.

Throughout the season, Derek has made comments about Bindi making the show feel new and fresh for him after 16 seasons (he didn't participate in season 12). And after saying he was not competing in season 20, Derek made a last-minute decision to join the cast, pulling double-duty with his commitment as the male lead in the New York Spring Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. (A serious injury later sidelined him.)

If Derek does decide not to return for season 22, it will definitely be a hard decision; before it was announced Derek would return that season, showrunner Rob Wade told E! News how difficult the decision was for the pro. "It was tough for him. We had a real heart to heart. It wasn't an easy decision and it was difficult because I feel like, if not a father, a bit of an uncle to these guys and he was struggling with it so much," Wade said

Another pro who is still undecided about next season? Sharna Burgess, who came in second place with her celeb partner, Nick Carter. Press play on our interview with her below to hear what she had to say about her future on DWTS.
