You guys, it finally happened. It only took two and a half years, being trapped at the bottom of the ocean, and a trip to a mysterious planet for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to finally let FitzSimmons get there.

That's right: Jemma (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Leo (Iain De Caestecker) finally kissed.

With Leo continuing to work on finding a way back to whatever planet he rescued Jemma from so that he can also save Will (you know, the man she fell in love with while there), the weight of the situation forced the pair to spit out feelings they'd otherwise been dancing around ever since her return. She can't bear the guilt of Fitz trying to do all the right things. He believes they're cursed to be apart by the bloody cosmos. And that's when it happened.

Naturally, after their second passionate kiss (!!), Fitz couldn't help but reiterate how cursed their love is. And, look, he isn't wrong. As Jemma told him tonight, she loves both him and Will (Dillon Casey) and, after tonight's other developments, she's likely going to have to make a choice between the two real soon.

Why? Well, that would be because all the forces at play this season are operating with the same mission (albeit for spectacularly different reasons): Get to that planet. While undercover at the ATCU, Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) and Lance (Nick Blood) discovered that no one is working on a cure for the Inhuman crisis. No, instead, under the dastardly leadership of Powers Boothe's Gideon Malick, they're creating an army of Inhumans for a troubling reason.

As Malick tells Ward (Brett Dalton), Hydra is a lot older than we've been led to believe. In fact, it's as ancient as a mysterious stone he's in possession of. You guessed it, it's a piece of the monolith. According to Malick's tale, Hydra was founded with the purpose of bringing back an Inhuman who was born on Earth and later exiled using the monolith's portal. Hydra's been using the ATCU to carry out Project Distant Star Return (which is a real mouthful), so that the Inhuman army will be ready to serve whenever their leader returns.

The only hitch in their plan? They've never been able to bring anyone back to Earth, but they're very aware of someone who has—and they'll likely stop at nothing to learn how he did it. Of course, this means we should all be very worried about Fitz, as if we weren't already. Looks like he's cursed more ways than one this season.

Spare Parts:

- Unless she's got a longer con up her sleeve, it looks like we can safely declare Rosalind (Constance Zimmer) a good guy. She truly seemed surprised by what Malick was up to and she helped Bobbi and Lance evade escape. We're still reserving some caution, mind you, but just some.

- Poor Andrew (Blair Underwood). He's now in the hands of Hydra, who plan to weaponize him by forcing his complete Inhuman transition. If that comes to pass, May (Ming-Na Wen) is going to have someone's head. Watch out, Ward.

- Bets on how soon Will is back on Earth? Our money's on the spring premiere.
