Kate Middleton and Prince William visited the French Embassy on Tuesday to pay their respects after the Paris terrorist attacks on Friday.

The royal couple looked somber as they signed a book of condolences in memory of the victims who were killed in the shootings and suicide bombings that devastated the French capital.

"To all those who have died and were injured in the heartless attacks in Paris, and to all the people in France: Nos plus sincères condoléances [our deepest condolences]," they wrote.

The attacks took place at multiple locations in Paris on Nov. 13. At least 129 people were killed and more than 350 were wounded at multiple locations, including several cafés and the Bataclan concert hall. The terrorist group ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Many celebrities have continued to pay their respects to the fallen victims. Coldplay canceled their livestream of their new album over the weekend and replaced it with a moving performance of some fan-favorite acoustic versions, including a cover of John Lennon's "Imagine." Madonna tearfully dedicated her performance of "Like a Prayer" to Paris, and Saturday Night Live opened its show this past weekend with a tribute to the victims.

Several television shows have also been postponed this week. Legends, Supergirl and NCIS: Los Angeles all shifted their programming schedules on Monday evening to show their respect for Paris.

On the movie side of things, though The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 premieres have continued this week, starting in Los Angeles on Monday evening, the cast and crew took a moment to share their condolences with the victims and families affected by the attacks. The film's stars also skipped red carpet interviews last night in the wake of the tragedy.
