It's a big day for Coldplay fans and potentially an even bigger day for Beyoncé fans.

The British band dropped their new single, "Adventure of a Lifetime," Friday, and it's nothing like anything they've released before this. With its upbeat melody and disco sound, the new single will have you bouncing in your seat or grooving on the dance floor—wherever you find yourself. If you were expecting to cry your eyes out to something that sounds like "Fix You," you won't be getting that.

Instead it's a new, refreshing sound from Chris Martin and co. The lyrics are pretty uplifting, too.

"I feel my heart beating/ I feel my heart underneath my skin/ I feel my heart beating/ Oh, you make me feel/ Like I'm alive again," Chris Martin croons.

The track is off their upcoming album, Head Full of Dreams, which seems to be an album unlike any of the band's previous works based on its collaborations. With 12 songs and a hidden work titled "X Marks the Spot," Coldplay's new album will feature Tove Lo, Noel Gallagher and Beyoncé, per MTV News.

Coldplay has been working on the new album for more than a year, and it follows 2014's Ghost Stories. Sadly, this might be the band's last album.

"We're right in the middle of it. It's our seventh thing and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book," Martin told BBC One in 2014. "That's not to say there won't be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing, otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."
