Rockwell Lloyd Liu is only 2 months old, but he already knows how to smile for the camera!
Lucy Liu Instagrammed a photo of her adorable baby boy grinning from ear to ear yesterday, captioning it simply, "Mood #Rockwell"
Little Rockwell is the first child for the 46-year-old actress, who surprised the world when she announced his birth on Twitter. Her rep confirmed to E! News that the Elementary star was the "proud mother of Rockwell Ll9yd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier," adding, "Mom and baby and healthy and happy."
Liu, who is famously private when it comes to her personal live, has given fans a few more glimpses into her life as a mama. Shortly after introducing "the new little man in my life," she shared another sweet snap of her cuddling him. "Rockwell and I so appreciate all your warm wishes!" she wrote.
Back in a 2010 interview with USA Today, Liu played coy when it came to her future family plans. "I don't have a settling-down time," she said, joking of her biological clock, "Someone threw out the battery."
"I never feel like it's too early or too late for anything," she added. "I don't ever think for me that this traditional way is the way to go for me because I haven't had a traditional life."
That might be the case, but it certainly seems like motherhood was a natural fit! Congratulations again to Liu on her precious son.
