Victoria's Secret announced the news on Twitter on Thursday by sharing a video of Hadid's audition, in which the supermodel struts her stuff in lacy lingerie and then squeals with excitement (and sheds a few tears) when she lands the gig. 

"Couldn't keep back my tears!!!! Anyone that grew up with me knows that getting this show has been a dream of mine forever! THANK YOU @victoriassecret & @ed_razek! One of the happiest moments of my life. #vsfashionshow2015" the 20-year-old stunner wrote on Instagram. 

Not only does Hadid have the looks, but she's also paid her dues in this fiercely competitive industry.
