ABC's new murder mystery, Wicked City, is about the investigation into a serial killer plucking young women from Los Angeles' Sunset Strip in the early '80s. Did you know the show takes place in LA on the Strip? Because if you didn't remember at first, it reminded you approximately 800 times.

Okay, so it was 17 times in 42 minutes. (We counted.)

The show also liked to remind you that it takes place in the '80s with all the classic songs playing, the use of era-appropriate slang ("bitchin'!") and the constant references to cocaine. Did you guys know that people did coke in the '80s?

In addition to Chuck Bass (sorry, Ed Westwick) turning into the psycho murderer he could've been in the early stages of Gossip Girl—you might've loved him and Blair together, but let us not forget he almost raped Jenny Humphries in the pilot—there was also Jeremy Sisto playing the most stereotypical cop you've ever seen.

Want to know how his Jack Roth compares to other TV crime fighters? Take a look at the below lines of dialogue, and decide whether or not they're from Wicked City, Law & Order, Chicago P.D., or literally any other cop show on TV right now. Answers are at the bottom. No cheating!

1. "Not medical, but it's a pretty clean cut. Looks like he's done this before."

2. "I'm guessing a post-mortem party."

3. "To me, this girl is a victim. To you, she's a step up."

4. "Hey, you get a match on those prints yet?"

5. "Hey, I don't trust you! How am I supposed to work with a guy I don't trust?"

6. "You don't like my style, man, feel free to walk out the door at any time."

7. "What a surprise, a murder took place here."

8. "Don't give me your Constitution crap. The Constitution doesn't say you can break into a crime scene."

9. "Guys like the guys we're looking for, they're creatures of habit. They go back to the same hunting ground."

10. "You may not know it, but maybe something you saw can lead us back to the killer."
