Ellen DeGeneres graces our TV screens every day with her afternoon talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, but not every country is as lucky as the good ol' U.S.

James Corden, baffled by this, tells the talk show host in Tuesday's episode that he's more than willing to help get her show to hit the airwaves in England, where it currently doesn't air. The Late Late Show host assures Ellen that he'll do whatever it takes in "the best way he knows how."

Cue his new, original song, "Get Elley on the Telly."

"You can watch Ellen in Memphis, across the USA / She's on TV in Africa, Sweden and Norway," he croons.

With images of famous British icons, including Margaret Thatcher, the Spice Girls and Harry Potter, on display in the background, Corden continues to sing on behalf of the Finding Nemo star.

"But you can't watch her in England / and it's time we take a stand / get Elley on the Telly / from London to Salisbury / Our lives are all a mess with no DeGeneres," he belts out to the audience.

No word if this will affect her show's syndication, but given Corden's efforts we certainly hope it does! Even though he graciously sings his heart out on behalf of Ellen and her show, there might have to be a deal made between the two. Corden wants Ellen to participate in his show's segment, "Carpool Karaoke," but she doesn't seem so inclined.

"Let me say thank you so much for volunteering me, but I'm not a singer the whole point of it is you're in the car with someone who might be on the radio," she tells the British host, "and you actually sing you have a great voice so you need to be in the car singing with someone who sings."

But Corden won't have any of her excuses. "Sure but I sing and you got skills, so what I'm saying is there is no one else on the planet...you would have an exemption to be the only non singer we would ever do," he says.

"OK, well let me think about that," she poses. "Maybe you can give me a ride home one day and I'll do it while I'm in the car."
