TwitterReady to feel old? Mady and Cara Gosselin turn 15 today!
Jon Gosselin wished his twin daughters happy birthday on Twitter with a sweet throwback photo. Kate Gosselin's ex-husband is all smiles in the pic (which appears to have been taken before Jon's infamous Ed Hardy phase) with young Cara and Mady sitting in his lap.
DJ Jon Gosselin (yes, that's a thing now) kept the B-Day wishes short and sweet. "Happy 15th Birthday to my daughters Mady & Cara!!!!" he tweeted. "Love you!"
As of Thursday afternoon, mama Kate had yet to wish the girls a happy birthday via social media. To be fair, though, she's got her hands full with Cara, Mady, and the 11-year-old sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Joel, Alexis, Aaden and Leah.
The whole family have been reality TV fixtures for nearly a decade now. Kate and Jon have had conflicting perspectives on what effect reality TV has had on the kids, but Cara and Mady maintain that it's been a positive experience for them.
"People expect us to be damaged," Cara told People magazine last year.
"People think we're supposed to be messed up, like, 'Oooooh, the poor Gosselin kids, they're going to be scarred for life, waaaaah,'" added Mady. "Here's the big news: we're not messed up."
"We're fine," Cara concurred. "We're better than ever actually."
