Watch: Would Joe Jonas Write a Love Song for GF Gigi Hadid?

Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid are in L-O-V-E!

The singer joined E! News to promote his band DNCE and their new single, but he obviously couldn't help himself from gushing about his supermodel girlfriend.

When asked if he's ever written a love song for his lady, he remained a bit coy. "I think when there's love in the universe, it's easy to write love songs," he said with a smile—perhaps we can expect one sometime soon!

And speaking of writing, he also touched on Hadid's recent letter that sent a powerful message to the body shamers who criticized her weight on the runway.

"I'm really proud of her," he gushed. "I think it's something that needs to be spoken about especially in that community. The industry seems to be changing for models, and it's great that she can have a voice.

As for his own successes lately, Jonas finds himself in a new band since his departure from The Jonas Brothers. He discussed how it came about and why the four of them work so well together.

"I've known JinJoo [Lee] and Jack [Lawless] for over 10 years. We've toured on and off together, and they've played for other amazing musicians," he explains of two of his bandmates. "So we've had the idea and thoughts for a while. We were just missing that fourth member and trying to find who would be the perfect fit for the crazy puzzle."

Jonas jokes about the fourth member, Cole Whittle, "NASA contacted me and said, 'Look, we found this alien from mars, and there's life on mars believe it or not, and we'd love for him to be a part of this.'"

Since coming together, they've already released a hit single with "Cake by the Ocean," much to fans' enjoyment.

Jonas says it's exciting that people are loving the song because it truly embodies what the group wants to represent.

"It's incredible. For us, it's an exciting tune we get to play for everyone now. It kind of embodies the band with wacky lyrics and high-energy vocals and funky tunes," he says. "For us, getting up on stage and being able to just bring a party to a city near you—it's all we want to do!"

The band already has a super exciting schedule ahead of them, taking the stage at Jingle Ball in December.
