Tori Spelling admitted in a lie detector test that she slept with former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Jason Priestley, and now he's commenting on her confession.

Following the airing of Lifetime's The Unauthorized Beverly Hills, 90210 Story, Priestley responded to tons of tweets from fans who were watching the made-for-TV film. Even though he decided not to watch it—he even wrote on Twitter that he was "hating on it"—Priestley decided to respond when one user asked him whether Spelling's confession was true.

"I'm not getting into this... It's nobody's business... Either way...," he answered.

His wife, Naomi Priestley, also tweeted that she, unsurprisingly, didn't watch the Lifetime movie either.

One fan called Priestley out for his nonstop criticisms, but he again clarified that he has nothing but fond memories for his time on 90210. The Lifetime recreation, however, was a different story.

"I'm only speaking with negativity about the Lifetime movie and Tori's lie detector... Nothing but love for 90210," he wrote.

His statement comes after Spelling spilled the beans about their supposed tryst, which apparently was nothing more than just a short-lived fling. "It was a summer fling. It was off-set," confessed Spelling. "It was our version of a summer romance. The 90210 version. And that was it, and we stayed great friends."

Later in Priestley's Twitter chat a fan even admitted that he looked up to the star for his role as Brandon Walsh, but considered rethinking his fandom after reading all of Priestley's negativity. "Joel, I'm just hating on this Lifetime movie... Relax buddy...," he responded.

The actor-turned-director also opened up about his relationship with Shannen Doherty, whom Spelling admitted she had fired from the show.

"I felt like I was a part of something, a movement, that cost someone their livelihood," Spelling said during the special, crying. "...Was she a horrible person? No. She was one of the best friends I ever had."

And Priestley felt the exact same way about Doherty. "Shannen and I will always be friends... Been through too much together...," he wrote on Twitter.
