Katy Perry's first performance since her split with on-and-off boyfriend John Mayer was anything but somber. In fact, when the "Firework" singer took the stage during the Starkey Hearing Foundation's So the World May Hear Gala at the St. Paul River Centre in Minnesota Sunday, she smiled from ear to ear.

E! News exclusively reported last week that Perry and Mayer had called it quits once more. No reason was given for their latest split, but the two are known to break up only to make up and break up again.

For Sunday's event, Perry wore a strapless, floor-length ball gown.

Perry dedicated "Roar" to the foundation's co-founders, William F. Austin and Tani Austin. "If @StarkeyHearCEO & @TaniAustin can do it, we all can do it!" she said, per @StarkeyCares' Twitter account.

The 30-year-old singer also posed for a picture with two former U.S. presidents, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, and joked about own plans to run for office. "42, 43, 46?!" she wrote in an Instagram caption. All jokes aside, Perry is supporting Bill's wife, Hillary Clinton, who has her eye on the 2016 presidency.

Perry also posed for a selfie with KISS' Gene Simmons. Other famous attendees included Quinton Aaron, Frankie Muniz, Dascha Polanco and Verne Troyer.

The hearing loss prevention gala raised $9 million.
