Meet Litchfield's newest inmate: Samantha Gardella.
OK, just kidding! But Orange Is the New Black's set was visited by Samantha Gardella, a New York teenager, in an unofficial-yet-awesome capacity when she heard the Netflix hit series filmed at an abandoned psych center near her hometown.
Gardella, a film student, decided to bring screen-shots from OITNB with her and match them up with their actual locations on-set, leading to some seriously cool photos she posted on her Tumblr.
The pics were so cool in fact that the official Twitter account for the show even commended her illegal activity, posting the cheeky photo above. "To the kid who snuck onto the #OITNB set: Game recognize game," they wrote, along with a citation signed by John Bennett, a corrections officer from the show.
In addition to her photos, Gardella also posted a video of her time on the OITNB set.
While the show's social media team didn't mind Gardella's sneaky visit, the legal team didn't have quite the same reaction. Gardella posted a photo on Twitter of a letter sent to her, writing, "If you were planning on visiting the set, DON'T. I take back my recommendation to go to it. whoopsies."
The letter commends her "creative eye" but says they would "appreciate your adherence to the ‘No Trespassing' sign on the property, and respectfully request that you do not enter the property in the future."
