Austin Chick and Morena Baccarin are calling it quits.

According to court documents obtained by E! News Monday, Chick filed for divorce from the Homeland actress on June 12 after three and a half years of marriage.

News of the pair's split only became public earlier today.

Chick cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. The writer/director is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their 20-month-old son, Julius Setta Chick. Chick also requested spousal support and asked the court to review their community and quasi-community property at a later time.

Baccarin's rep did not return E! News' request for comment.

The exes were married on Nov. 18, 2011.

In addition to playing Jessica Brody on Homeland, Baccarin recently guest starred on Fox's Gotham and The CW's The Flash. The 36-year-old actress has appeared in a number of other hit TV series, including  Fox's Firefly, CBS' The Good Wife, TNT's Heartland, CBS' The Mentalist, Fox's The O.C. and ABC's V.

On the big screen, Baccarin starred alongside Jude Law, Melissa McCarthy and Jason Statham in Spy. The actress next appears in Deadpool, opposite Ryan Reynolds, playing Vanessa Carlysle, AKA Copycat.

Chick, 43, is perhaps best known for 2002's XX/XY and 2008's August.

TMZ was first to report that Chick had filed for divorce.
