Stars pop in documentary about Moschino designer

The irreverent designer who has made best friends within the Hollywood jet set is getting his own documentary.

This would be Jeremy Scott, of course: The Kansas City native who helms a namesake collection and the Italian label Moschino (the latter a part of his repertoire since 2013). The star-favorite designer will be profiled in the film Jeremy Scott: The People's Designer, which explores his Midwestern roots and rise in the fashion world, including the development of his latest collection for Moschino (you know, the one with all the Looney Tunes duds that we gushed over in March).

The film is produced by Matt Kapp, the same filmmaker who brought us Valentino: The Last Emperor. (Fashion documentaries haven't been this in since The September Issue, and we can't complain).

Katy Perry (who fronts his fall-winter 2015 Moschino campaign), Miley Cyrus and Rita Ora pop up in the film's trailer, as well as ASAP Rocky. "His clothes represent people being very expressive and forward and fully free. And it's kind of empowering in a way," Miley says in the preview—and we have to agree!
