InstagramEveryone deals with breakups differently, for some it's a tub of ice cream and a rom-com, but for Charlie Ebersol it's all about puppies, prayer and Toy Story.
E! News confirmed yesterday that the producer split with Britney Spears, his girlfriend of eight months, for unspecified reasons.
However, just a few hours after their breakup went public, Ebersol hopped on Instagram to share with fans how he's managing to get through the heartbreak.
Spears' former beau posted a video of an adorable pet pooch snuggling with him on a couch—with Toy Story playing in the background—and wrote a lengthy accompanying caption that gives some insight into how Ebersol's doing.
"We are nothing if we are not a collection of the scars, tattoos, and smiles of a life well lived. I wish for you today, that you find great joy in the joy you spark in others. If nothing else, I hope you're happy just in knowing that you made me happy."
He added, "It is never lost of me the love with which I have been blessed. For that, I am to live up to Colossians 3:12."
And while Ebersol is spending quality time with his favorite four-legged friend, Spears is busy hanging out with family in her home state of Louisiana.
In fact, earlier Monday she posted a pic of her hugging a hunky male pal and wrote, "So nice to be home! Nothing like Louisiana boys!" That's not-so-subtle, Brit Brit!
