It'd be exciting enough if Britney Spears came by your place of work, but imagine if she asked to take a picture with you...and then posted it on Twitter for her 42 million followers to see!

This was exactly what happened to Harris Beall, the hunky Southern fella who encountered the pop superstar at the Prop Stop bar and grill on Louisiana's Tickfaw River.

Brit tweeted out the photo of her bikini-clad self cozied up to Harris on Sunday—just one day before news broke that she and boyfriend Charlie Ebersol had called it quits. Now, because of the timing, fans began to speculate as to whether Britney's snap with the boat boy had anything to do with her and Charlie's breakup...

It didn't, of course! E! News confirmed that Harris, 22, only first met Britney, 33, this weekend. The Southeastern Louisiana University football team kicker, who is working as a deckhand at the Prop Stop for the summer, encountered Brit when she joined her sister Jamie-Lynn Spears and brother-in-law Jamie Watson for some after-work burgers.

Harris and Britney crossed paths again on Sunday, and it was then that the college cutie snagged the international superstar's attention. "...I was walking down by the dock and Britney said, 'Can I take a picture with you?' because she liked my shirt," Harris recalled to Access Hollywood. He said he said yes to taking the pic "like anyone else would."

"I'm a typical college football player," Harris added. "I work at a bar down by the river and was asked to take a picture with Britney Spears [on Sunday]."

"Britney and I are not affiliated with each other at all," he clarified, adding of his instant fame, "I think the whole thing is funny."

Harris doesn't seem to mind the attention, though! He retweeted Brit's post, and even wrote, "Oops I think I'm in love" (he clarified to Access Hollywood he was "just joking" with that tweet).

He also retweeted a joke about himself and Britney "kicking their relationship off on the 'right foot,'" and quoted a lyric from 1998's "...Baby One More Time":

Ha, just like Brit said, there's "Nothing like Louisiana boys!"
