Laverne Cox busted out of Litchfield and onto the stage at Hammerstein Ballroom Sunday night for a wild Broadway Bares performance. The Orange Is the New Black star rocked the house wearing nipple pasties and a lingerie-style corset for the burlesque show.

The actress went absolutely wild onstage, dancing her heart out and swinging her hair 'round and 'round for the show's annual fundraiser. Broadway Bares is a striptease performance that brings together some of Broadway's greatest stars to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, a cause near and dear to Cox's heart.

The Netflix star posted a series of photos and videos from her performance on Instagram thanking the audiences and everyone involved in putting on the show.

"Wow the experience of a lifetime doing #BroadwayBares tonight. Thank you everyone for your talent and support. #JerryMitchell, #NickKenkel and a special thank you to @kellenstancil my brilliant choreographer Casey and everyone in the #CastingCouch number," she captioned a video of herself absolutely dominating the stage.

"Technicians, stage managers, our brilliant costumers, especially #SamBrooks @sewsosam. Love you all. Thanks to @bcefa for this lifesaving work. Let's end AIDS."

Cox looked just as gorgeous onstage as she did on her recent Entertainment Weekly cover, where she was dressed as Lady Liberty for the mag's special LGBT issue. Inside the issue, Cox discussed her transition and how it differed from those transitioning today.

"This is why I'm so grateful that I had the luxury of transitioning in private," said Cox, who is transgender. "Because when you transition in the public eye, the transition becomes the story. I'm always disturbed when I see conversations about trans people that focus on surgery."

Although she was able to "transition in private," Cox is now enjoying her time in the spotlight, earning an Emmy nomination for her role as Sophia on the hit Netflix dramedy and starring in a new TV pilot, Doubt.
