Kim Kardashian's man isn't a fan of cheesin' it up in public, and when he is caught smiling, he's quick to correct himself and bust out that trademark scowl! This was the case during Game 4 of the NBA finals—and we could've easily missed this rare, magical moment had it not been for a perfectly timed Vine video captured by FutMomento. Bravo!
Yeezus, 38, had a very similar caught-in-the act grin caught on camera last month at a Chicago Bulls game. This smile, too, was short-lived, but thanks to a very perceptive NBA fan, it also lived on in a Vine.
This whole not-wanting-to-be-seen-smiling thing is clearly a trend with Kanye, but there's no reason to worry. The rapper isn't unhappy—he's loving life with wife Kim, 34, and their beautiful daughter North West, who turns 2 on Saturday. He explained in an interview with The Daily Front Row earlier this year, though, that he's purposefully not smiling for good reason...
"Back when I was working on Yeezus, I saw this book from the 1800s and it was velvet-covered with brass and everything," he said. "I looked at all these people's photos and they look so real and their outfits were incredible and they weren't smiling and people, you know the paparazzi, always come up to me, ‘Why you not smiling?' and I think, not smiling makes me smile...When you see paintings in an old castle, people are not smiling cause it just wouldn't look as cool."

Mmmhmm. In any case, Yeezus' family can get those grins out of him. Case in point? In the music video for "Only One," Kanye can't help but light up when he's sharing the screen with Nori! When he's with Kim, too, he lets his guard down (as long as the cameras around around).
There was an occasion earlier this year when Mrs. West treated her man to Taco Bell, and Yeezus, he was happy about it! Probably because not even Kanye can play it cool when chalupas are involved.
