From shirtless selfies to classic pantsuits.

Today, Instagram gained two bright shining stars. Two bright shining stars who will no doubt bring countless amounts of humor and wit to our newsfeeds. (After all, we can't continue to rely solely on The Fat Jewish, can we?).

Those stars are none other than Anna Faris and Hillary Clinton. The former joined presumably to keep up with kids these days and to be able to brag about her enviable husband and son. The latter joined for a slightly higher motive. But they both came out swinging with their debut picture! Just as we expected.

These all-important Insta-milestones got us thinking about some of our favorite Firsts. The picture that anybody chooses to announce themselves on Instagram is an important one, but that's only amplified when you're about to have millions of followers. Your Instagram debut also says a whole lot about you: Are you way too into yourself? Are you just a nerdy Dad trying to be like the cool kids? Do you make really good jokes? Consider the Instagram debut the mood ring of social media.

So with that in mind, we've picked (and ranked, most importantly) the most legendary first pictures. Some of them are great, some of them are cringe-worthy, but they're all teeny tiny insights into the celebs we love to watch.

10. Betty White

We love you, Betty, but this 'gram is just so-so. It's got nostalgia and booze, sure, but it's time to spice it up a bit. This picture gets props for its cuteness, but that's about it.

9. Jason Statham

What else can you really expect of Statham but to stand stoically next to a piece of heavy machinery? You be you, Jas. You be you.

8. Sarah Jessica Parker

Images I've been collecting on my way to and from work. X sj

Bless SJP for sharing this blurry photo of a clock tower with the world. It's quirky, it shows that she's still figuring out how to use the camera thingy on her phone, and most importantly it has no mention of Manolos or the phrase "So I got to thinking." She really is better than Carrie Bradshaw in every way and this photo is a daily reminder.

7. Ryan Reynolds

Stuck the landing. With my mouth.

Everybody it's Deadpool! Man does this guy have social media savvy. Using your first Instagram picture to hawk your upcoming movie? Evil genius.

6. Anna Faris

Moments before #JurassicWorld premiere- so thrilled! And my first Instagram! Please be gentle.

Sure it's just a mirror selfie, but it's a mirror selfie with Chris Pratt. Game over.

5. Asia Kinney

Getting ready for another day with mommy...??

Asia may not actually be a celebrity herself, and just a lowly pet of a celebrity (Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney to be exact), but look at that face! It's a French Bulldog! Wearing a turban! That's a heck of a debut.

4. Victoria Beckham

Juice not milk! x vb

Posh this photo and caption make literally zero sense but somehow it is so perfect. It was fun to pretend, even just for a single post, that you were just a regular nerdy mom who makes nerdy mom jokes. Then we looked at the rest of your feed.

3. Eva Mendes

Girl, what? This is some fire #TBT stuff. From the ill-fitting skirt to the ridiculous bandana, we could not be more in love with everything that's happening here. Eva Mendes has great self-deprecating humor...who knew?

2. David Beckham

Word is DB wrote some sweet words about his birthday for his Insta debut, but we're not paying attention to anything past the shirtless bed selfie.

1. Hillary Clinton

Hard choices.

You say "pantsuit joke," we say "first place."
