Guess what gone but never, ever forgotten beverage might be making an iconic comeback? We'll give you a hint: the commercials for it could have also served as inspirational posters decorating office walls and/or ads for people running for governor of a small town in Wisconsin.

Give up?

CRYSTAL PEPSI.

That's right, the see-through soda that made a big splash in the '90s before quietly running away with its tail between its legs might very well be available for purchase in the near future. That's how hip the '90s are right now; companies are throwing products that are basically nothing but punchlines now at consumers.

Crystal Pepsi has had a loyal fan following since debuting in 1992, and one of the most vocal supporters is competitive eater Kevin Strahle, aka L.A. Beast. He's been pushing for the return of Crystal Pepsi for a long time, and on Tuesday, something miraculous happened.

PepsiCo sent him a letter.

He posted a picture of the letter on Twitter, which you can read below, but the most important part you want to focus on is this sentence: "We definitely hear you and all your followers and we think you'll all be happy with what's in store."

Does that mean what we think it means?! The triumphant return of one of the most iconic '90s drinks of all time?! Please say yes, drink gods.

A PepsiCo spokeswoman confirmed to Ad Age that yes, the letter is authentic. She wouldn't give any more details other than: "We think Crystal Pepsi fans are going to be happy with what we have planned."

If they aren't bringing back Crystal Pepsi, then we hope that at the very least Pepsi is going to start selling Crystal Gravy:
