Rejoice! It's officially OK to wear summer whites again. That is, for those of us that adhere to strict fashion codes.

And apparently that includes quite a few celebrities because on Memorial Day half of Hollywood celebrated the start of the new (style) season in ivory, cream and everything in between.

Kate Hudson topped her white swimsuit with a matching off-the-shoulder knit top, zig zag Isabel Marant jeans, pastel pink heels and, of course, her bright blue aviator shades. Donning a similar sweater (by Michael Stars), January Jones also rocked head-to-toe white in distressed bell bottom jeans. And Bella Thorne, kept it breezy by layering a cutout maxi dress over a Solid & Striped bikini.

Meanwhile, Diane Kruger didn't actually opt for white but she was pretty close in a very pale blue top crop with matching culottes by 3x1. Her accessories did, however, include an ivory jacket—plus, a straw fedora and nude sandals.

As for the ladies who decided to just keep living colorfully this weekend, well, they did so spectacularly. Jessica Alba went nautical again in a Sundry "Sail Away" sweater, ripped denim and converse sneakers. Also in boyfriend jeans and flats, Jennifer Lawrence and Christina Millian looked ultra cool—J.Law in a black onesie and the E! star in a floral crop top. While Kate Beckinsale added an extreme pop of color to her neutral ensemble (an olive green romper with nude sandals) by toting along a neon Proenza Schouler purse.

And not to be forgotten, Reese Witherspoon was summer personified in her own Draper James collection.

So, show of hands: Who plans on copying these looks this summer? We've got all ten digits waving in the air right about now.
