Because wasn't this what your Thursday afternoon needed?

Two bears were fightin' mad over some New Jersey trash!

That's not slang for something or a euphemism of any sort—it's literally what went down Wednesday afternoon in one Morris County neighborhood!

Local resident Tracey Bednash witnessed the two fuzzy yet ferocious predators throwing punches at one another. This wasn't over a lady bear or a pot o'honey—no way. These two were fighting over that toppled over garbage can!

Ms. Bendash, who was presumably inside a safe structue and some distance away, snapped a video of the bickering bears on her phone, which she later shared with NJ.com and NBC4.

"It's not uncommon for them to come around here on garbage day and ransack the cans," she later revealed in an email to the station. "The huge mama bear was seen around the neighborhood the past week or two. I'm sure she was lurking around."

And listen, there are some cute bears—Yogi, Winnie the Pooh, Fozzie, Paddington, Baloo! Smokey Bear's pretty awesome, too, protecting our woods from wildfires and what not. But, as the New Jersey Division of Fish and Wildlife warns, DO NOT FEED OR APPROACH A BEAR.

The only exception to this might be if that bear is Ted and both Seth MacFarlane and Mark Wahlberg are in plain sight, too (you know, so you're sure it's not just a foul-mouthed look-alike.)
