Bono is back, but now U2's The Edge is the one who is injured!

The band kicked off its new world tour in Vancouver Thursday, where everyone was reunited onstage after the frontman recovered from his severe bike accident. But even though Bono has returned to the stage, the band can't seem to avoid injuries as The Edge fell off the stage during the performance.

Don't worry, he survived and lived to tell the tale, even joking about it on the band's Instagram page! "Didn't see the edge, I'm ok!! #U2ieTour," he captioned a pic of his visibly scraped up arm. Based on videos uploaded by concert attendees, it looks like the 53-year-old guitarist misjudged the edge of the illuminated walkway and fell into the first row of seats.

The collapse took place while the band performed "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," but we doubt The Edge found it while taking his tumble! Both Bono and The Edge have proven that they're more than willing to poke fun at themselves, as Bono participated in a pre-taped skit with Jimmy Fallon for The Tonight Show in which he got hit three separate times by a moving car while riding a bike.

"I'm good Jimmy, just a few scratches," he claimed in the video. "I'm ready to do the show."

In an added twist, it turned out that the drivers of the reckless vehicle were none other than band members Adam Clayton, The Edge and Larry Mullen Jr. LOL! Although everyone was able to have a good laugh about it, Bono's accident in real life was nothing to joke about. He confessed to the New York Times that he might not ever play guitar again.

"It feels like I have somebody else's hand," he revealed, before pointing to his ring finger and pinky. "I can't bend these, and this—" he said, motioning to another part of his hand, "is like rigor mortis."

"I didn't come off a Harley-Davidson. I came off a push bike and smashed myself to bits. There is no glory here," he shared with the publication. "They say that nerves heal about a millimeter a week, so in about 13 months I should know if it's coming back."

He added, "But this is the hard bit because I can't play guitar."

Everything else, he assured, is on the mend no matter how slow his recovery is going. "It's all numb here, and this is titanium," he continued, gesturing to his forearm and elbow. "The shoulder's better, the face is better."
