Robert De Niro could learn a thing or two from Anne Hathaway. At least, that's the plot of their upcoming movie The Intern!
In the just-released trailer for The Intern, Ben Whittaker (De Niro) is a 70-year-old retired widower who seizes an opportunity to get back in the game by joining a senior internship program at an online fashion website founded by Jules Ostin (Hathaway).
Needless to say, Whittaker quickly becomes a fish out of water taking orders from a young urban professional at a modern-day online shopping company.
Whittaker and Ostin take time to feel each other out and eventually realize they can both learn a lot from each other. Ostin says in the trailer, "It's moments like this when you need someone you know you can count on, because you're my…"
"Intern," Whittaker interrupts.
"Well, I was gonna say intern slash best friend," she adds. Aww!
The Intern also stars Rene Russo, Adam DeVine, Nat Wolff, Andrew Rannells and Reid Scott.
