It's a sibling showdown!
In Thursday's episode of Spike TV's Lip Sync Battle, Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough goes toe-to-toe with his sister, Dancing With the Stars judge Julianne Hough. Julianne makes her sibling squirm by performing The Lonely Island's "I Just Had Sex," while Derek opts for a more family-friendly approach.
In the sneak peek video above, Derek mimes Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us." Though the number isn't as carefully choreographed as one might expect, Derek more than makes up for it with his exaggerated facial expressions.
Derek and Julianne will each perform two songs.
In late April, Spike TV announced that it has picked up another 20 episodes of Lip Sync Battle. The highly rated and critically acclaimed series will return with new episodes in 2016. "Lip Sync Battle is a television and viral rock star for Spike," network president Kevin Kay told E! News in a statement. "We are thrilled to be renewing Lip Sync Battle whose success is a direct result of the brilliance and creativity of our producers, the brave performers, and of course the coolest new duo on television, LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen."
Malin Akerman, Will Arnett, Justin Bieber, Emily Blunt, Alison Brie, Common, Terry Crews, Jimmy Fallon, Anne Hathaway, Taraji P. Henson, Dwayne Johnson, Anna Kendrick, Hoda Kotb, John Krasinski, John Legend, Stephen Merchant, Queen Latifah, Michael Strahan and Mike Tyson starred in Season 1.
Imagine who might appear in Season 2! Lip Sync Battle is the most-watched original series in Spike TV's history, averaging 3 million viewers a week. It is also the top-rated series in its timeslot in the demographic of Adults 18-49 in all of cable.
