Take note, pitches: Anna Kendrick will show you how it's done!

On Tuesday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Pitch Perfect 2 star went head-to-head with the late-night host in a rousing game of Egg Russian Roulette.

The rules were simple: Anna and Jimmy Fallon would take turns smashing one egg at a time over their heads, choosing at random from a carton of 12. Of those dozen, eight eggs were hardboiled (i.e., wouldn't goo all over when broken) and four were uncooked (so they'd make a total mess when cracked). The first person to smash two raw eggs over their head would be declared the loser.

"Am I the first woman to do Egg [Russian Roulette]?" Anna asked.

"You're actually the first woman to play this game and dare to play this game," answered Jimmy. "You called it—you wanna call me out? I was like, 'Let's do it, girlfriend!'"

"You know why?" Anna asked, holding out her hands suggestively. "Because I've got eggs."

Jimmy began to giggle, asking through his laughter, "What?"

"It makes sense," said Anna with a grin.

It most certainly does! The Pitch Perfect 2 star didn't just have the eggs to play this game with Jimmy—she even made the most of a potentially sticky situation!

After a run of good luck drawing hardboiled eggs, Anna knew the odds were not in her favor. "It's fine," she said, picking up an egg that was very likely to be uncooked. "Egg's a natural conditioner! I'm not even mad!"

This egg was, indeed, raw, but when Anna smashed it over her head, she didn't even flinch! Instead, she smoothed the yolk through her hair, maximizing it's conditioning effect.

"Oh, stop it, like you meant to do that," sassed Jimmy. "Actually, it looks good. It's like a headband."

This back-and-forth continued, and neither Jimmy nor Anna was chicken to move forward as less and less hardboiled eggs remained. So which one ended up egging themselves twice and losing the game?! Watch the Tonight Show clip above to find out!

Pitch Perfect 2 hits theaters Friday.
