Watch: Noah Galloway Dishes on Live "DWTS" Proposal

"It was perfect to do it here."

There was not a dry eye in the ballroom on Monday night when Noah Galloway proposed to his girlfriend, Army Reserve specialist Jamie Boyd, live on Dancing With the Stars. Her answer? Yes, of course!

"I am still in shock," Jamie told E! News' Maria Menounos. "It was amazing. I had no idea. None. Not in a million years would I have thought he was going to do this!"

But quite a bit of planning went into the army veteran's secret proposal.

"That was the most nervous thing that happened tonight," Noah said, "what I was going to say, how it was going to go, how I was going to get the ring in my hand to give it to her. I actually think it made my first dance easier 'cause I wasn't stressing about the dance!"

And while he was nervous for the act itself, Noah was never worried about what Jamie's answer would be, telling us, "I wasn't nervous about about what she was going to say because we've talked about it, but she just didn't know when I was ever going to propose."

Someone who was nervous? Noah's professional dance partner, Sharna Burgess!

"I was the ring-bearer and I have never been more nervous in all my life!" Sharna said.

But she did know the proposal could be happening during the season, as Noah revealed he told Sharna he would propose if the pair made it to the finale, which is next week.

"I never expected to go very far. Now that we're at this point, Rumer [Willis], Riker [Lynch] and Nastia [Liukin] are so good that I was like, this may be as far as we go and that's fine, so why don't I do it tonight? So we pulled it off tonight just in case because I wanted to share it with so many people."

DWTS airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
