We've officially had our first glimpse of royal baby No. 2, and as expected, the little princess is even more adorable than we could've imagined.

Kate Middleton and Prince WIlliam welcomed their second child on Saturday at 8:34 a.m. local time and have since left the hospital with their bundle of joy and returned home to Kensington Palace.

"The baby weighs 8 lbs., 3 oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth," Kensington Palace said in a statement, adding, "Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

The Duchess of Cambridge gave birth to her first daughter in the Lindo Wing at St. Mary's Hospital—the exact same location where she gave birth to Prince George, and the same place where Princess Diana gave birth to Prince Harry back in 1984.

Just like Kate, Diana also debuted her second child on the steps of St. Mary's Hospital 31 years ago, looking absolutely stunning as she beamed beside husband Prince Charles while cradling her little one.

For Prince George's debut, Milddeton chose a dress very similar to the one Diana wore to reveal Prince William to the world, but this time, the fashionable duchess opted for a floral Jenny Packham frock—very different from the red coat Diana wore during her first public appearance with Prince Harry.

One reason, perhaps? The weather was different! William, George and royal baby No. 2 were all born in the spring (June, July and May, respectively) while Harry was born in September.

How do you think Princess Diana's first appearance with Harry comes to Kate's royal baby No. 2 debut? Tell us in the comments!
