Michelle Obama Wows in Neon Green Dress in Japan—Take a Look!

The first lady nails it in Tokyo

It's hard to look chic in chartreuse and yet the first lady managed to do exactly that today.

While arriving in Japan on Wednesday, Michelle Obama turned the jet way into a runway by deplaning in a lime green dress by Kenzo. The printed fit and flare frock, which is from the designer's Fall 2014 collection, was paired with a gold belt and simple black pumps.

The colorful dress is the perfect choice for her first visit to Tokyo because although the fashion house is technically French (founded in Paris), Kenzo Takada is a Japanese designer.  

Before Lady O left for her five day trip—which will also include a visit to Cambodia—the  51-year-old stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show and shared the one thing she's really looking forward to doing after President Obama's second term comes to a close.

"People don't realize we can't do little things like open windows," said Obama. "I look forward to getting in a car and rolling down the window and just letting the air hit my face! I haven't been in a car with the windows open in about seven years, if you can imagine that," she added. "So I'm going spend that first year just hanging out the window...I just want some wind in my face!"

But for now she's still got plenty of things left to do while she's still first lady, including a lot more dancing thanks to her new #GimmeFive challenge.
