Those hanging on to Janet Jackson concert tix are going to have to keep on hanging.

After her first comeback attempt was scuttled, the pop-R&B diva has been forced to cancel another date on her Rock Witchu Tour on the advice of her doctor.

Jackson was supposed to go onstage tonight at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, N.Y. A message on the hotel's website states that the concert has been postponed "due to doctors' orders."

As has been the case with the seven other performances Jackson has scrapped since falling ill Sept. 29 in Montreal during a sound check, Oct. 13 tickets will be honored when the show is rescheduled. Her total number of missed dates will jump to nine on Thursday, when she was supposed to play Madison Square Garden but already postponed her appearance in light of all the date shuffling.

Per the tour itinerary, the next possible show is Wednesday in Washington, D.C.

The Grammy winner's camp has remained mum on what's been keeping Jackson off the road, not to mention what she was briefly treated for at Montreal's Royal Victoria Hospital.

But as far as the Rhythm Nation is concerned, the most important thing is that Jackson get better, as evidenced by this get-well note posted on the artist's website:
