Seth Meyers is all about irony...that's all.

The host of Late Night With Seth Meyers and longtime comedy writer was a recent guest on Vogue's latest installment of its on-camera interview series 73 Questions, which was posted on Wednesday, the one-year anniversary of his NBC talk show, and showed his fearless sense of humor while answering a question referencing the iconic British editor in chief of the magazine's flagship U.S. edition.

"When I did this with Anna Wintour, she said Americans lack humor. What do you think British people are lacking?" the interviewer asks.

"Fashion sense," Meyers replied.

"Did you just burn Anna Wintour?" the interviewer asked.

"Yeah, I did," Meyers said, smiling.

"Are you regretting it?" the interviewer asked.

"A little," the host replied.

During Vogue's 73-question interview with Wintour, which took place in her office and was released last September, the editor said that the biggest difference between Brits and Americans is humor and that that is also the thing she misses most about England.

Wintour also showcased her own sense of humor during the interview and revealed many more interesting facts about herself, such as how she likes avocados and coffee ice cream, uses a flip phone, has never taken a selfie, hates horoscopes, would never wear "head-to-toe black" and doesn't drink alcohol. She does, however, usually drink Starbucks coffee during breakfast.

Wintour's daughter Bee Shaffer works as a segment producer on Late Night and Meyers and the fashion editor have met and spoken in person several times before.

She gave him some tongue-in-cheek fashion advice for his 2012 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards hosting gig.

"Anna Wintour, she said to me, 'I have the funniest idea.' And I had this moment like, 'Oh, do you, Anna Wintour, have the funniest idea?' he had said on Conan. "And she was like, 'Yeah, you should wear Marc Jacobs' MET outfit' and I was like, 'Uh, that's a pretty funny idea.'"

The two have sat together at at least two high-profile galas—a Ralph Lauren event in 2011 and the 2014 Couture Council Award Luncheon Benefit, where they were placed at the same table with famous designers Oscar de la RentaCarolina Herrera and Donna Karan and actress Renee Zellwegger.

Also in 2014, Meyers interviewed Wintour on Late Night She appeared with Sex and the City alum and fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker and discussed male celebrities' looks at the 2014 Met Gala. The annual fashion event's theme the year before was "Punk: Chaos to Couture."

"Anna, not to call you out after all your praise but I feel you did not embrace punk in the same way," Meyers told Wintour, holding a photo of her wearing a floral gown at the event.

"Seth, my punk days are behind me," she said.
