It took her two years to gain entry into an exclusive club for magicians in Los Angeles, but Chrissy Teigen might want to rethink her status!

John Legend's wife stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote her upcoming show, The Fab Life, and the host couldn't help but ask her about her passion for magic. (Naturally we're thinking of a necessary friendship between Barney Stinson, G.O.B. Bluth and Teigen.)

Elaborating on life inside the club, which includes a "semi-formal" dress code and requires "disposable income," Teigen revealed that the group wouldn't accept her because she wore the wrong clothing all of the time!

Kimmel, however, felt that no one should have to pay magicians to hang out with them LOL.

"These are why magicians are nerds," he joked. "If you want to get in that they should let you into that for free. They should be paying you to come to it!"

The talk show host did reveal that he tried going once, but when they made him put on "some guy's" sports coat, he decided he wouldn't be returning.

Although she is best known for her life as a Sports Illustrated model and social media maven, Teigen really wanted people to know how passionate she is about performing tricks.

"I have no idea where it comes from but I've always loved magic...one cannot choose where we get our passions," she joked.

But when it came time to put on a little show for the audience, it didn't quite pan out! Teigen pulled out props from behind her chair only to fail to make a fake dove fly and couldn't finagle a "mamba," which prompted injured NBA player Kobe Bryant to ask, "Can you reach back there and see if you can find me a new shoulder?"

"We're only tolerating this because you look like this," Kimmel joked of her skills and looks.
