Papa Cyrus ("Achy Breaky" Billy Ray) repeatedly told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM today that he wants to be Miley's "friend." Meaning, he's not going to tell Miley that her supposed crush, 25-year-old Ryan Cabrera, is about 150 years too old for her.
"Oh Lord, no!" he exclaimed, when Ryan (Seacrest, that is) asked if Miley seeks her dad's permission to go on dates.
Good thing, then, that Seacrest decided to weigh in on the Cabrera sitch. "He's a great guy, but he's too old for Miley Cyrus," Ryan said.
But buddy Billy was unconvinced: "He's a great musician, and I think he's a good influence...musically, and as far as the things she's writing right now."
Maybe the Cyruses should hire Seacrest to be their manny.
