The "Come & Get It" singer took to social media earlier today to share a sweet snapshot from her younger years.
She captioned the image, which shows her holding a trophy and wearing a sash that says "model" during a pageant, "Oh my…talk about tbt."
And based off of her huge smile and crystal crown, it looks like Gomez went home the big winner of the day.
We can't help but notice that the photo reminds us of Beyoncé's childhood pic (and "Bow Down" cover art) which she shared with fans in late 2013.
Both pics show the girls showing off their trophies in their pageant dresses—and both singers happen to be from Texas!
Back in 2012, Gomez opened up to Glamour about growing up in the Lone Star State, saying, "I'm terrified of what I would have become if I'd stayed there. I'm sure I'd have two children by now."
She continued, "I love the people, and I'm glad I grew up there. It's because of [my mom] that I can do things on my own. I like being professional. I like showing up on time. I like being good to people, and I know that I'm reflecting her at the end of the day."
