Today marks the start of New York Fashion Week. It is a storied tradition that dates back to the dawn of time, when the cavepeople would don borrowed loincloths that they passed off as their own in the hopes of being spotted by the hottest street style cave wall painters.

These days, Fashion Week is an exclusive affair, in which the chicest editors, buyers, and amateur bloggers from the Midwest gather to watch as designers present their new collections. Many people look forward to this ritual with all their hearts, jumping for joy at the chance to view the hottest fashion before everyone else, attend an endless stream of parties, and subsist on only coffee and Luna Bars for weeks at a time.

But others are slightly more wary, and must keep the deep, dark secret of Fashion Week fatigue. These are the people who live in the shadows, where thoughts like, "Maybe it's not comfortable to wear stilettos in a blizzard for 16 hours straight" and "It's actually kind of weird that you combined four different, non-coordinating patterns and are wearing a bra on the outside of your turtleneck" must be kept away from society at large.

But we're here to let these people know that they no longer have to spend their days in fear. They can feel liberated to air these grievances to the world. Grievances like "I'm tired."

THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.
