Pierce Brosnan's Malibu, Calif., house caught on fire Wednesday night, but fortunately no one was injured in the blaze.
According to reports, the fire broke out in Brosnan's garage around 10 p.m. PT, and about 20 firefighters were able to contain it in about 35 minutes. A member of Brosnan's family told media at the scene that no one was hurt, but one bedroom sustained minor smoke damage. The blaze left piles of debris in the driveway.
The 61-year-old Irish actor was seen talking to a firefighter outside of his home once everything was under control. Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman said the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
According to an NBC News local affiliate, when asked by a photographer at the scene what had happened, Brosnan replied, "What do you think is going on."
The former 007 resides at the Malibu house with his wife and two children. Arson investigators have begun looking into the blaze and say that a conclusion could be reached by later today.
"Damages to the structure, garage and its contents were estimated to be over 1 million dollars," according to the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
