Lookin' gorgeous, Gugu!

British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw has landed the March cover of Town & Country, and the star absolutely stuns both on and inside the issue. Gugu, who has become a red carpet style mainstay in recent months (for good reason, if you've been following her best looks as closely we have), is also making a mark on the big screen, with films like Belle and Beyond the Lights in her wake. Most recently, she's starred in Jupiter Ascending with Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum, and will be partnering with Will Smith on a new film that is currently in production.

In the issue, Gugu opens up about her career choices, as well as her style and beauty mantras. (Yep, we're taking note.)

"In my daily life it's about being comfortable. I wear a lot of black," she said. "But now, to promote these films, I've been working with a stylist. I've had some fun Cinderella moments in red carpet land. I love the Audrey Hepburns of this world, and I think Cate Blanchett is stunning and always nails it."

ICYMI: Gugu's "Cinderella moments" could include her stunning turn in a lilac Prada frock at the 2015 BAFTA Awards, that incredible watercolor print Lela Rose confection that she wore to the 6th Annual AAFCA Awards and her tea-length Lanvin look that made her belle of the ball at the Met Gala in May.

We've obviously noticed the actress' flawless skin and makeup at red carpet events, but her desire to keep those things as optional when it comes to self-esteem is what truly makes her a beauty standout.

"It's important to know that it's okay to be your natural self," Gugu said. "It's also okay to dress up and wear makeup and hair extensions if you want, so long as you don't feel like you need that or will be worthless without it. The point is, it should be a choice."
