Arthur Mola/Invision/APAnna Kendrick has the hots for Ryan Reynolds—in their new movie The Voices, that is.
Ryan isn't interested.
In the movie, Reynolds plays Jerry Hickfang, an unstable bathtub factory worker who believes his cat and dog are talking to him when he goes off his meds. The feline tries to convince him to be a serial killer while the pooch urges him to try to have a normal life.
Jerry also happens to be crushing on Kendrick's accounting department officemate, played by Gemma Arterton.
But things go horrifically awry when Arterton stands him up on a karaoke date at a Chinese restaurant.
Check out the exclusive sneak peek below to see what happens earlier in the film when Kendrick tries to get Reynolds to drive her home after a night of dinner and some drinks with their co-workers.
Kendrick gushed over Reynolds at the movie's premiere last year at the Sundance Film Festival.
"He's an absolute dream to work with," she told me. "He's so talented and he's playing a really odd character," she shared.
The Voices is in theaters and on VOD tomorrow.
