Between the massive lion she rode into the stadium and her backup-dancing sharks, Katy Perry's performance lent itself to a lot of "oohs," "ahhs" and "OMGs!" Inevitably, the Internet came prepared and immediately transformed the "Roar" singer's performance and costumes into hilarious memes.

Some noticed that her fiery first costume wasn't as original as she probably intended it to be, as it resembled a couple of costumes we've seen before! People likened it to Katniss Everdeen's "Girl on Fire" dress from The Hunger Games while others thought it looked eerily similar to Will Ferrell's ice skating costume from Blades of Glory.

Others recalled when Katy dressed up as a Flamin' Hot Cheeto for Halloween and believed that her October costume was the inspiration for Sunday's outfit.

Although the New England Patriots technically won the Super Bowl, we can all admit that the sharks, beach balls and palm trees in Katy's Halftime performance were the real winners of the night. One Twitter user was so inspired by the dancing sharks that she photoshopped one onto the movie poster of Jaws. Scary shark, be gone! Katy's is the new villain.

Another user used Nationwide's dismal commercial about accidental children's death as inspiration and somehow turned the depressing ad into a hilarious picture.

And when Katy ultimately took flight during "Firework" and glided across the stadium, people couldn't help but wonder if she intended to look like the "more you know" logo.

No matter whom or what Katy's outfits might have made her look like, we have to say she definitely rocked her performance. With powerhouses Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott behind her, it was a great Halftime show.
