People at court are finally starting to notice Conde's (Sean Teale) feelings for Mary (Adelaide Kane) on Reign. Including her husband, King Francis (Toby Regbo)!
In an exclusive new promo for the CW hit's midseason return, the rivalry between Conde and Francis for Mary's heart is on full display, including a duel in front of the entire castle that gets particularly nasty.
Anyone else getting a little nervous for Conde's future at court, especially after hearing that next Thursday's episode is called titled "Banished?!"
"[Conde] has deep feelings for Mary and he's going to play a large role in her life," showrunner Laurie McCarthy tells E! News. "The question now is whether or not Mary could possibly ever have feelings for Conde as well.
And good news for fans of Reign: the CW just renewed it for a third season, along with seven of its other series, including Arrow, The Vampire Diaries and more! Long may it reign!
"Our executive producers can start planning next season's storylines," network boss Mark Pedowitz said in a statement of the mass renewal, "and rolling these shows out throughout next season guarantees The CW will have more proven original series for our fall, midseason and summer 2016 lineups."
Reign airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
