Olaf, can't you recognize yourself?

Even though Josh Gad's new movie The Wedding Ringer is out now, he can't seem to leave his lovable character Olaf in the past.

The 33-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a face-to-face meeting with his Disney Frozen counterpart on the streets of New York, writing: "The best part about this picture is that the guy in the costume had no clue whatsoever who I was or who Olaf is. Lol."

Gad, the voice behind the giddy snowman, doesn't seem to be too upset about not being recognized, as he still manages to flash those pearly whites next to the aloof-Olaf.

Although going incognito may have worked this time for the comedian, he revealed his daughter Ava instantly knew the sound of his voice when she first heard it on the highest-grossing animated flick of all time.

"She knew from the second that I took her to her first movie she ever saw in a theater, it was Monsters University, and they had a teaser attached to it for Frozen," he said during a visit to HuffPost Live, laughing. "And at that time Olaf had no dialogue, I just laughed, she literally just heard me laugh and she goes ‘that's dada, more dada' and I buried my head and I started crying."

As Elsa would sing: Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back any more!
