Casey Wilson has a bun in the oven!
Just a few weeks after the star of NBC's Marry Me confirmed she is expecting her first child, the actress debuted her baby bump Monday. Matt Lauer and Natalie Morales gave their guest something "every parent-to-be needs"—a Today onesie! "This is so cute! Do you think it'll fit me?" the TV star, 34, joked.
"This is so cute," she reiterated. "Thank you. Orange looks great. Thank you, guys. I appreciate it."
Wilson joined Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb later in the program, where she admitted that her first pregnancy hasn't been easy. "I just said, 'I can't believe I'm putting all of this out there on national TV.' It's upsetting, but I'm glowing," the actress joked of her growing baby bump. "My husband [Marry Me creator David Caspe] said, 'So many women are glowing pregnant women and you are not one of them.' He meant it as a compliment. I have had a rougher pregnancy but I'm here and I'm happy to be here."
The actress also announced that her firstborn will be a boy, saying, "We've gotten off to a rocky start, my son and I, but I think we're going to see our way through this. He's in a lot of trouble right now."
Hopefully Wilson and Caspe's son inherits his parents' sense of humor!
Wilson's character on Marry Me is not pregnant, so she's had to hide her new curves on camera. Like many pregnant actresses before her, she did so by using props. "We've done the kind of Claire Huxtable with laundry carts and golf carts and aprons," Wilson said. "They put me behind a wall and I'll peek out."
"We're done filming in a week," she said, "so I've kind of slid under the wire."
This will be the first child for Wilson and Caspe, who got married in May 2014.
