If you've seen any of the Taken movies, you know that Liam Neeson will stop at nothing to protect his daughter, played by Maggie Grace.

Apparently, this protectiveness applies in real life, too! On Thursday's Conan, Maggie, 31, revealed how Liam, aka "the best fake movie dad any girl could ask for," prank called her ex-boyfriend in character with a warning.

The Taken 3 actress "was a little heartbroken," she said, and when she was telling Liam, 62, about her "hot mess" ex the action hero sprung into action. "He was like, 'This just can't be. We have to set this kid straight,'" she recalled.

So, the onscreen father-daughter duo called this fella at his office. Amazingly enough, Maggie recorded Liam making the call. She played it back for Conan O'Brien and his audience, and quite impressively, Liam sticks to the script almost perfectly. "This is Brian Mills," he says, referring to his ex-government operative character in the films. "We've never met....And if you play your cards right, we never will.

"Now listen, [expletive]. You're lower than the pond scum, so I'm just gonna say this once. You've made two mistakes—your first mistake was dating out of your league. Your second mistake—well—let's just say any more mistakes and I'll break your other arm—slowly," he went on.

"I don't need to say it, but I have a particular set of skills," said Liam. "And I don't want to waste them on you. "

He's totally the best fake movie dad ever!

Taken 3 hits theaters Friday.
