Real Housewives fans have seen their share of castmembers go from BFFs one season to archenemies in the next.

From New York's Jill Zarin and Bethenny Frankel to Beverly Hills' Lisa Vanderpump and Brandi Glanville, friendships come and go faster than one of Kenya Moore's twirls.

But on tonight's all-new Real Housewives of Atlanta, fans got a giant dose of hope when friends-turned-foes NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey unexpectedly decided to bury the hatchet, at least for now.

Although the two went back and forth in last week's episode about how things went wrong—Did NeNe have to call Peter Thomas a bitch? Did Cynthia need to pick up the phone instead of get angry at the reunion?—both ladies decided to move forward after a few tears.

"I just want to move on," NeNe shared on tonight's episode. "I still love you."

"I'm pretty optimistic that we can bring this friendship back on track," Cynthia added. "I have to be honest, I miss NeNe."

Before you get too excited about this reignited friendship, however, you haven't heard from the husbands.

While Gregg Leakes can't help but realize the two ladies missed each other, Peter has a whole lot of concerns.

After he noticed a healthier marriage between himself and Cynthia without NeNe in the picture (not to mention a better sex life), the owner of Bar One doesn't exactly want the Broadway star back in his life.

"You don't want to hold her accountable for bullshit that she did," Peter explained on tonight's show. Yah, this is definitely to be continued.

Regardless of her husband's concerns, Cynthia recently admitted to E! News that she missed her old friend.

"Once you're actually face to face with someone, it's hard to stay mad at someone you really cared about—at least for me," she explained.  "I miss having fun with her."

So is there hope for this friendship? Watch what happens!

Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. only on Bravo.
