The Trickster is coming to The Flash and he's going to look mighty familiar! E! News has confirmed Star Wars' Mark Hamill—yes, Luke Skywalker himself—will reprise the villain role he originally played on the 1990s CBS Flash TV series.

Hamill played the comic book villain in two episodes of The Flash in 1991. He also provided the voice of the character in the animated Justice League series. The original star of The Flash, John Wesley Shipp, plays Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) father on the CW series.

"Having Mark reprise his role as The Trickster was on our original wish list when we were planning our version of The Flash," series executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said in a statement to HitFix, which originally reported the news. "Christmas and Chanukah came early for us this year when he said yes!  We are beyond humbled and excited to have him joining us for another round of deadly trickery!"

Look for Hamill's James Jesse to help Barry and Detective West (Jesse L. Williams) stop a wannabe Trickster from his cell in Iron Heights where he's serving a life sentence. Hamill also provided the voice of the Joker across several animated DC Comics shows.

Hamill can next be seen opposite Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o and more in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015 and opposite Colin Firth in Kingsman: Secret Service.

The Flash episode is expected to air sometime in 2015.
