Be still our nostalgia-loving hearts! Rider Strong—aka your teenage crush Shawn Hunter—makes his Girl Meets World debut on Friday, Dec. 5 and reunites with his Boy Meets World bud Ben Savage for the special holiday episode and we've got a sneak peek at Shawn and Cory Matthews, together again.
Shawn, who seems a little skeptical when he and Cory are compared to Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), returns to New York City for the holidays. Can Cory woo him back for good? In his attempts to do so, Cory gets Shawn to break out into song and a little dance…it's like Boy Meets World never ended in 2000!
We'd watch a Cory and Shawn in the City show in a heartbeat. One's a cop, one runs the deli…just add Mr. Feeny (William Daniels) and it'd be perfect.
The episode, "Girl Meets Home for the Holidays," also features appearances by Betsy Randle as Amy Matthews, William Russ as Alan Matthews and Uriah Shelton as Joshua Matthews, Cory's younger brother. Look for Topanga (Danielle Fishel) to fret over getting the holiday meal to get Amy to relax.
