Watch: What to Expect From Evan Ross' Music Career

Evan Ross may be winning over people's hearts this weekend as Jennifer Lawrence's ally in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1.

But the talented actor has a few exciting projects up his sleeve that don't exactly involve saving districts.

Instead, the 26-year-old is gearing up for his new album that may just feature his wife, Ashlee Simpson.

"We already did a song together and we're going to do more together," he told E! News exclusively. "We did an incredible song together but we're going to keep doing music together. She's unbelievable. Our voices sound really well with each other."

Recently, E! News confirmed the happily married couple was working in the studio together. An inside source shared that both Evan and Ashlee work incredibly well together, which ultimately leads to creative results.

"Their writing sessions are really quite cute with them bouncing ideas off one another," the source revealed. "Evan is really talented. It's just a matter of time before the world sees what this guy can do."

Lucky for us, Ross has a brand new single dropping Dec. 5 called "How to Live Alone." It's one of the many songs he has worked to perfect in hopes of proving he deserves a spot in the music industry.

"I can't wait for people to hear it. I feel like I really found the sound that I really want to come out. It's going to be something really special," he explained. "I've been working on it for a long time now. It's going to be unique and different and great at the same time. I think people are going to love it."

And if you needed another reason to be excited, turns out Ashlee may not be the only family member collaborating with the actor in the near future.

Evan is also more than interested in singing with the one and only Diana Ross.

"I would love, love, love to do a song with mom. We'll work together," he promised. "She's always giving me good advice and we're working on stuff. When the right song comes up, yah, we'll definitely do a record together."
