On Saturday, the 19-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was announced as the newest face of Estée Lauder. The prestigious cosmetics company's website features on its website photos of her as well as a video, which contains footage of her as a child, taking to mother Kris Jenner.
"The first time that I wore makeup, I was little girl and my mom was filming me," she said. "And I'm like, 'Mom, I did my makeup, do you like it?"
The company deems her a "fashion muse," "It Girl," "cover star" and "Instagram sensation."
The news comes months after Kendall walked the runways at fashion shows of major designers, such as Diane Von Furstenberg, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, Givenchy and Dolce & Gabbana during New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.

"I feel like I'm more honored to be a part of something with such amazing names involved," Kendall says in the Estée Lauder video. "It's something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly. It's so crazy."
Other celebrities who have been spokesmodels for the brand include Gwyneth Paltrow and supermodel (and Guns N' Roses music video star) Stephanie Seymour.
"I just want to be the best me I can be," Kendall adds in the video. "So having the power that social media does, I think just seeing how many people care about you and seeing how many people, like, want to watch what you're doing, it just makes you really want to do the best you can do."
